I was just thinking of this email that I had received in the past. I had just finished watching Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I think every candidate/representative should watch it and consider what was said. I’m ready for a grass roots movement of every person contacting their Congress member and letting them know how satisfied/dissatisfied they are with the system. We need to know how our elected officials vote and if we disagree make it known. Tell them that not only do we disagree, but we will not vote them back in again !!!!

I’m guilty of complaining but never voicing my opinion to the right people – my elected officials. I heard Gov. Mike Huckabee state that we need to let them know what we want and expect. Should the President be able to force this great country into poverty for the future generations without our say in the matters? Let’s do what we should as a Nation and stand up for our right to be represented and voice our opinion.

Enough of my soapbox, I know most of you know more about politics than I do. I just know when we are being taken advantage of. Let’s flood Washington with our opinions. A lot of good men and women have died for our rights and no one should be able to slowly rob us of those rights !! God Bless America and each of you.
